My Favorite Hearts Day

February. Was. Insane.

This month came and went faster than I would like, but it gave me so many memories I'll always cherish. From meeting an old friend, to meeting a new friend I had been speaking to on Discord, to finally finally coming together with mah hubby and spending time with him - everything was magic.

When I say my itinerary was "jam-packed" it was literally packed.

After a get-together with family I haven't seen in years, I went off to focus on my man and, for a night, some friends I could meet. It was the best month/trip I've had in years and although I can't mention the activities we had and everything else I did in Manila, they'll stay in my heart forever.

For the first time, I experienced a love I thought I wouldn't ever get in this life. I have never met a man so caring, so thoughtful, so sweet, and so protective of me and what I stand for. He's wise, kind, funny, and just has so much love to give - and he deserves it back ten-fold. I'm incredibly lucky to have met him, and even if the path leading to him caused me pain, I won't change anything as long as he ended up at the end with me.

(I don't usually talk about a boyfriend in public like this, but he deserves every bit of praise.)

They said it takes someone special to change you for the better. Ito na pala 'yon. My soft-girl era has begun. :)

I went to Manila as one person, then left - in tears - completely changed.
I didn't want to leave.

LDRs are a different demon, that's for sure.

I already miss you, love ko! We'll see each other again very soon. :)

It's a pretty short post, but the memories are long and sweet.
Thank you, February.
