Letter to the End of 2026 Me

They said that 2026 was for Aries.

Now that the year has come to a close, was it really?

What have you accomplished this year? What new insights did you gain? Did you make more than last year, or was it about the same? Did you meet new people? Did you have a character development arc where you suddenly stopped caring about what people thought of you? 

Did things go according to plan?

Oh, right - we didn't plan anything for this year (as of writing).

For years you've written "letters to the end of x-year" and for what? What have you proven? What have you gained?

I know I'm a little harsher, rugged, along the edges this time. No more big plans to do so and so, no more goals, no more "hoping you're happier" or anything "cute"... just one question: 

Are you still alive?

And if the answer to that is yes, then you've done enough.
